€1.5 billion in consolidated revenue. Up 16.9% year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA at €225.4 million, up 12.4%. Earnings per share up 34.2% to €1.25. Those are the headline numbers from CTS EVENTIM's first half of 2026 — and every segment contributed.

Ticketing: +13.9%

The ticketing segment reached €273.3 million in revenue for H1, with adjusted EBITDA of €172.5 million and a margin of 36.4%. Q2 alone saw ticketing revenue jump 25.8% year-on-year to €254.3 million — the strongest quarterly growth in the segment.

The platform now handles 250,000+ events per year across 26 countries, with distribution through web, mobile, retail, and partner channels simultaneously. Digital and mobile ticketing adoption has accelerated across every market, unlocking richer data, reduced fraud, and new revenue streams like official resale.

Live entertainment: +18.6%

The live entertainment segment hit €1.061 billion in H1 revenue, with adjusted EBITDA growing 57.1% to €52.9 million. The growth was driven by a strong portfolio of tours, concerts and festivals — particularly in Germany, Italy and the US, including Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, and the anniversary edition of Hurricane Festival.

What's driving the momentum

International expansion is paying off. Full ownership of France Billet and Vivendi's festival and international ticketing activities have given EVENTIM true continental scale with local depth in each market. The major event pipeline is historically strong — multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games programmes in delivery or preparation, each a multi-year engagement generating revenue across planning, build, and operations phases.

"Against a backdrop of challenging economic and geopolitical conditions, CTS Eventim is achieving steady and profitable growth," said Klaus-Peter Schulenberg, CEO. "Our robust position in Europe and our expanding global presence underline the enduring strength of our business model."

What this signals

Demand for live experiences — concerts, festivals, major sporting events — continues to outpace supply. CTS EVENTIM sits at the centre of that demand as a vertically integrated operator across ticketing, promotion, venue operations, and fan engagement. When the same growth pattern repeats half after half, it stops being a snapshot and becomes a thesis.
